It was a great joy to have old girl Kalpana Issac Morris visiting the school on Monday 20th and addressing our girls at General Assembly. Kalpana Issac now Morris was a Prefect, involved in athletics, debating etc and was in Scott House. Always did charity work which got her invited to the White House by Hilary Clinton.
In Turkey she did a huge amount of fundraising during the earthquake as well as for the earthquake in Gujarat, sending a plane load with field hospitals and medicines. Her services were so appreciated, the head of Action Aid flew over personally to thank her.She has also lived in Brussels, Oxford and later in India.
